HR Generalist (m/f)

Job Summary
In this diverse position you’ll be involved in all HR activities, searching for new talents (including Employer Branding activities), hiring employees, working with and advising current employees, supporting managers in HR-related topics to closely cooperating with other stakeholders (e.g. work council, lawyers, headhunters).

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & onboarding, employer branding, talent development programs. Support line managers with high quality consultancy within these areas.

  • Manage HR projects based on the individual expertise.

  • Develop and maintain HR policies and guidelines within the respective special field and, if necessary, provide advice to group HR managers for their local implementations.

  • Advise and coach managers on a wide range of HR related topics (e.g. FTE status and succession planning, budgeting, compensation & benefits, employee engagement & retention, recruitment, restructuring). Support managers in optimizing their managerial skills and ensure continued development of their organizational unit in line with their business objectives. Manage legal, disciplinary and grievance cases and provide legal advice if necessary.

  • Coordinate activities related to HR Budget (recruitment costs, relocation costs, employer branding costs), cooperate on workforce plan and regularly review cost reports in cooperation with Finance and Controlling.

  • Cooperate with other HR functions (e.g. HR Business Partner, group HR managers, payroll) discuss business needs, advise on issues related to the respective special field, deliver HR analytics outputs, cooperate on performance management topics, support with HR budget and forecast preparation.

  • Research on upcoming HR trends and proactively strive for the state-of-the-art HR solutions.

  • Perform other HR duties as required and assigned.

Your Profile

  • University degree in Human Resources Management or comparable specialization

  • At least 5 years of experience in a generalist HR field with comprehensive knowledge and main focus on recruiting activities

  • Proficient knowledge within the respective special field (recruitment) understanding of banking business

  • Fluent English and German; knowledge of any CEE language is an advantage

  • Proficient in MS Office

Annual Gross salary €50.000,- based on our collective bargaining agreement (for 38,5 hours/week) - additional payment according to skills and experience. The position can be filled as soon as possible.
